Their kitchen is outside in the backyard. Each afternoon after work & school they prepare their meal. Many people eat only one time per day.

Here Riva is preparing the meal (fufu) and her grandma the chicken.

Fufu is the traditional dish in Congo composed of water and cassava flour. The Congolese eat fufu each day.
